About the company:
This collaborative engineering firm has built a trusted reputation in land development across residential, commercial, institutional, and mixed use projects, and they’re looking for a civil engineer to take ownership of projects and grow within a supportive, hands on team.
What you'll be doing:
Lead site and civil design and permitting for a mix of public and private land development projects
Manage projects from early planning through construction, including grading, drainage, stormwater, and infrastructure design
Carry out hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and prepare SWPPP documentation
Work closely with leadership on team planning and project resourcing
Build and maintain client relationships, and support new business efforts
Guide and mentor junior team members, helping keep projects on track
Step in where needed to support project delivery and team goals
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
10+ years of experience in site or civil engineering, ideally focused on land development
PE license
Strong experience across site layout, grading, drainage, stormwater, infrastructure, and erosion and sediment control
Comfortable managing clients and developing relationships
Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D
Experience working alongside geotechnical and environmental teams
Clear communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
