What you'll be doing:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, market research, and lead generation
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients to support repeat business and strategic partnerships
Develop and execute business development strategies that align with company objectives and market trends
Manage the proposal and bid process, including preparing RFP responses and supporting contract negotiations
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to increase visibility and build credibility
What we're looking for:
5 or more years of business development experience, ideally within the construction industry
Experience with civil engineering firms or industrial real estate is preferred
Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and maintain long-term client relationships
A network of industry contacts you can bring to the role
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Solid understanding of the construction project lifecycle and industry operations
